SF Sultan

The leader for diploid annual

SF Sultan is a synthetic diploid annual ryegrass from six parents, bred for high yields under both grazing and fodder conservation. It has outstanding winter production with rapid re-growth after grazing or cutting. It has higher ME, lower NDF and higher DM% compared to most diploids, making it ideal for early cut silage through to late hay. It has excellent disease tolerance.

Agronomic features:
  • Diploid
Lower seeding rate for more cost effective sowing. Better suited to drier and warmer winters

  • Excellent tiller density
Rapid re-growth after first grazing for excellent quality

  • Outstanding winter yields
Rapid re-growth after grazing when feed is needed

  • Late maturity
Provides better quality fodder than earlier flowering types
