SF Flyer

Fast feed that flies

SF Flyer is a diploid annual ryegrass with early season flowering. It is best suited to early autumn sowing in lower rainfall regions or where its use for winter feed and early fodder can be followed by sowing a summer fodder crop. It has consistently produced around 7% more feed than Tetila types at a 30% lower seeding rate.

SF Flyer can provide a good low cost alternative to Wimmera ryegrass or Tetila types.

Agronomic features:
  • Diploid
Lower seeding rate for lower cost/ha. Handles drier winters and lower rainfall

  • High winter yields
Provides high quality feed when it is needed most

  • Early flowering
Well suited to low rainfall zones. Ideal for early lock-up silage or early hay. Can enable re-seeding in medium rainfall areas
